Geely car launch new model

PT. Geely Car Indonesia officially launched the two main models to the automotive market in Indonesia Wednesday, December 16, 2009. Both cars Geely MK MK2 sedan and hatchback are assembled in CKD (Completely Knock Down) at Astra car factory (PT Gaya Motor - Sunter). And for the first phase, PT. Gaya Motor currently has 180 units of spare parts to assemble CKD Geely Sedan and Hatchback.

Geely became the fourth Chinese auto maker, Chery points after Indomobil as sole distributor for the national car market by the year 2007, after the Greatwall (Indomobil) and Photon (Indomobil and Modern Group). Actually, the principle in Shanghai Geely pointed Indonesia became the first country outside China to produce Geely in CKD are marketed not only for Indonesia but also for ASEAN countries, Australia and New Zealand.

Indonesia Geely hopes to sell 100 units of cars per month or 1200 units in 2010. And to continue to increase market penetration, Geely will also launch Geely Panda city car that has two engine options in 1000 cc and 1300 cc. In addition, they also will introduce a new MPV in 2010.
